How will my purchase be shipped to me?
Shipping is processed within 5 business days for original art. The artist ships your artwork directly to you so that you may receive your new piece within 5-7 days of being processed. The art is delivered ground, and Mid-Atlantic Artists takes care of the cost of shipping standard sizes.
While we pay for standard shipping, oversized shipment surcharges are billed to the customer. An oversized shipment is any package that has a length plus girth (2x width + 2x Height) of 130" or over. Oversized packages also apply to shipments exceeding 96" in length.
If you are unsure if an artwork applies for oversized shipping, if you would like to get an oversized shipping estimate, or if you would like to expedite your package, please email curator@mid-atlanticartists.com.
Some of our oversized pieces are in the gallery. If you are interested in viewing them or picking up a purchased item instead of it being shipped, contact us at curator@mid-atlanticartists.com.
Do you sell framed art?
The gallery does not offer the shipment of framed art. However, with our print partner, prints can be ordered with frames, as they have a professional reputation and safe packing process.
With so many personal tastes, budgets, and decorative styles, it is best for you to select your own frame to fit your home or office. Additionally, we want the art to come to you in pristine condition, and shipping framed art is hazardous to the artwork itself.
How do returns work?
We have a 7-day return policy. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact the gallery via email to initiate a return. If a package is damaged upon arrival, please document with photos. In addition, if merchandise is damaged, please send us an image for documentation within 24 hours of receiving the package. Also, please keep the original box that the work was shipped in. We will process returns from the customer to the artist.
To initiate a return, email curator@mid-atlanticartists.com.
What constitutes the Mid-Atlantic region?
Our artists come from as far north as New York and as far south as North Carolina. The region encompasses many cities and states in between, including the New Jersey/Philadelphia area, Delaware, Maryland (where the gallery is located), Washington, D.C., West Virginia and Virginia.
How can we be contacted?
You may email us with any questions or concerns in lieu of contacting the artist. We will do our best to respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
