ABOUT MISTY LETTS

I grew up in North East Maryland and was part of the Havre De Grace art show as a pre-teen and young teen. (Actually won some ribbons back then.) I attended HCC for their art program and moved on from their to MICA. Although I didn't graduate, I learned an awful lot. I started playing music and actually also was the entertainment in Havre De Grace for Art Show in the early 90's and then the 4th of July celebration! I found music satisfied the creative craving for some time. I usually find my self taking on a portrait project of some kind as a favor, but decided to finally work on things for myself, like I did in my youth.

I have returned to painting and drawing and am trying for the first time to get my work into gallery's. Being a newcomer to the art world at 59 has its challenges, and I am ready to take them all on.
